Today, the problem of interdisciplinary integration in universities is relevant and requires further study. The author examines some aspects of its solution in the process of professional training of students-philologists. Using the example of the study of the novel “Red and Black” by Frederick Stendhal and the collection of stories “Notes of a Hunter” by Ivan Turgenev, we establish the relationship between Russian literature and cultural linguistics. In a literary work, we single out linguocultures united in a “linguocultural field”: cultural background, aesthetic linguocultural concepts, cultural traditions, cultural process, cultural space. We pay the main attention to the concepts of the aesthetic direction, since their features of the representation of ethical and aesthetic experience are directly related to the mentality, ethnos and the organization of intercultural communication.

We note that the introduction of onymic units into a work is a unique element of the author’s word formation and serves to implement the artistic concept. Through the onym code, the student’s intercultural communication with the work he is studying takes place: the names concentrate national and cultural information and provide the reader with information about the history of the country, mentality as a source of nominal function and outstanding personalities. Students will learn the author’s worldview concepts, since onyms, in addition to their own nominative function, reflect the historical and cultural background of text events.
Comprehension of the author’s codes in mastering the wealth of the Russian language and their interpretation contributes to the enrichment of understanding of the main categories of hermeneutics, turning students into co-authors of a work of art. In this context, by implementing the principles of linguodidactics through various types of speech activity, when working with a literary text, we aim to contribute to the formation of students as a linguistic personality.
